Falling behind...

I've been so slack in my blogging, that I have no idea where to begin...





First off, James hit 7 months last week...below is his monthly chair photo...

We went to the local wildlife park last Sunday...Hallie is into deer at the moment..she thought she died and gone to heaven when she was able to feed them..

Guess you all know where abouts I live now...

Last week Leah got into the diaper cream, I thought she was being terribly quiet...and you know when toddlers are quiet..they are into something...it was a pain in the ass to wash off too that shit is waterproof...

I was cleaning a corner of the house and I came across her old "teeth" sookie...

Doug finished the basement...the tv is still hanging..and no wires at all...I must admit, I was skeptical in the beginning that he would be able to pull it off..but I like the look and I don't have to worry about the kiddies pulling any cords...


Since I took these, I thought I would share...my basement when it is tidy...see, there is carpet and floor there after all....

We are working on a playroom , so I can get all that kids crap out of the way..I am a minimalist..I like clean lines and I hate clutter..if I had my way the only things that would be in the room is the couch and tv..everything else is unnecessary..

I have to cut this short...James is calling "mummmm mumm"

I still can not get at my videos and pictures....angry would be an understatement...it pisses me off when my husband thinks he can fix everything, "who needs a professional?" Then he proceeds to not only NOT fix it, but make it worse...

So yeah, our hard drive, or at this point I should say hard drives..as we have more than one now...well, they are fucked..pardon my language...

So until then I will just have to come up with other things to post... I can post new pics, I just can't get at the ones I had saved, and the videos that I uploaded..THAT TOOK HOURS TO UPLOAD!...yes, I am a tad angry with Doug...

I have oodles to update on the kids, but would like to provide the pics...so that's useless...

Blame Doug...

So we were getting a new computer, then we weren't...

Because Doug said he could clean out our old harddrive..etc...oh, yes...he cleaned it out...he lost everything...

Ok, so we start fresh with a new hard drive off one of our older computers...just as I was getting the hang of that one, uploading and saving pictures and favorites..etc..he gets the other hard drive back..you still with me....so all that I had done on the new hard drive was gone and replaced with the old one...

Take a shot for every time I type hard drive...

Now, we are back with the original...so when I get all the pics and vids in one central location and they stay there longer than 2 hours I will organize a huge media post...

It will be worth your wait...and I might even put one of myself on there...

Hope everyone is having a faboo Saturday..weather is brilliant here and Doug is gone for the day... I'm gonna make some guacamole, hummus and salsa...I'm in a dipping mood today..

Doug worked all night last night for my dad, so I was treated to McDonalds breakfast this morning he picked up on his way home....grease this early...yummo!

I've got a ton of video to upload, but I am relaxing today and don't want to deal with the asshole that is my computer...

Houston...we have a tooth...

James has a little tooth poking through, his bottom right...I don't think the other 2 got teeth until 7-8 months...so poor little guy was cutting a tooth and sick at the same time, its a wonder he was not super miserable...nope, he kept his cool and a smile the whole time....

These are the lawn chairs in my front yard...and why would I have lawn chairs out in the winter you may ask, well I hate to say, I took this pic 2 weeks ago...yep, we had a snow storm here in the 2nd last week of April...I had to dig out Hallie's winter snow gear and send her to school in her snowsuit..and like 2 days before that she was getting by with only a light jacket...I've said it before and I'll say it again...global warming..my ass!

So I mentioned that Doug was hanging the tv on the wall...well, it gets more complicated than that...I don't want any cords hanging down for little hands to pull on, and I am not entirely sure that having the tv hanging is a safe idea either...but the man assures me that it is not going to fall off...so he gets this idea to put our cable box in the ceiling....and run all the other wires through the wall....well, you can see for yourself.....

The picture above, is after he cut a hole in the perfectly good wall....he had to put a piece of gyp rock back in and plaster it...sand it down and it will have to be repainted...and as of this morning, it still looks like that, cords are sill hanging down and I am getting irritated....

And big news of the week....

James is eating solid food....I decided to skip the rice cereal...well he only had it a handful of times, so I decided to mix the cereal with the vegetables and see what happens...he loves carrots and sweet potatoes..but hates peas...I thought everybody loved peas...they are so cute!

And James' 6 month chair pic...not sideways...they weighed him at the hospital last week and he was 19lbs...wowza!

Big sis wanted her photo taken too....

And yesterday I had the most frightening incident....Leah was napping on the couch and all of a sudden she started crying...ok..bad dream right...NOPE...she lifted her head up and blood was pouring out of her mouth...she bit the inside of her lip while sleeping...took quite a few minutes to get to stop bleeding...it was scary...

I just have to comment on the hockey game yesterday...I did not take the Pens loss too bad...the last 2 playoff seasons I was pregnant...so it was difficult for me to get all worked up...but this season I behave like a crazy person...I do love the playoffs, and while my team did not win the game, it was exciting to watch...I was on the edge of my seat the whole time...

The Debut....

I promised to post the little blurb Hallie had written...so here it is....little background first...the teacher told the class to pick a moment and "blow it up" so to speak, like if you were laying in the grass, don't just put "I was laying in the grass"...go beyond that....build on it with imagination and emotion...

So I am now presenting you, the first great literary work of Hallie Mosher..... I have corrected the spelling..etc..

One Moment

"My favorite place is the woods by Candice's house, I smelled pine cones. I heard some deer running in the fields and the sun was shining, the wind was blowing, the grass was shaking. Around the trees there is only a little bit of grass, I laid on a patch of moss. When I looked up at a tree, the birds made the face of a deer. It was Easter morning and I could hear the sound of the springs on the trampoline as Candice and her friend were bouncing on it. The birds were singing and the tree's leaves were blowing in the wind."

*Sniff, Sniff* I am so proud of her, as a writer myself, I am thrilled that she seems to enjoy putting thoughts to paper..she is into deer at the moment, so I strolled on over to Etsy and bought her a beautiful bound journal with deer artwork, I want to encourage her to write, anything at all and even only a few words...I suggested some kid writing workshops for her, but that was pushing it...just remember when she is bigger than Danielle Steel someday...you read her here, first!

Well, that was quite the hockey game last night....too bad for all you Habs fans...guess your boys should have stayed out of the penalty box....my nanny is a huge Montreal fan, she will be bitter today...


I am going to Hell, recently I have taken great joy in torturing the neighbors 2 cats....the little bastards are always at my bird feeders...so I watch them..and when I see them doing their little crouch down ass shaking, ready to pounce thing that they do, I open my patio door and yell and scream...they lose concentration and the birds scatter....and when I am really pissed, I send my dog out after them...all I have to say is " go chase the kitties" open the door and he hones on them like a sonar...I do like cats really, but I love my birds more...and a little piece of me dies when I see one of them going with a bird in its mouth...they go by unsuspecting names too...Lucky and Tigger...puhleeez!

I know I promised some pics, but my usb cable thingy went AWOL...Doug is doing some remodelling to the basement and it is quite disorganized..he had this great idea one day...lets hang the tv on the wall...so, yeah...now our tv is hanging on the wall and the kids are bitching of neck cramps from looking up to watch it...speaking of...I am a terrible mother, but I let Leah watch tv while she eats...I set up a little table and chair for her, suction her bowl to the table and she will sit and eat it all...James also loves to watch tv....yes I realize that is a huge MOMMY FAIL...but it could be worse, I could be offering my kids crack or wine...or both...

Looks to be a quiet Saturday here...weather is crappy, kids are still croupy...so no dancing around the May pole for me...
